Manage the overall warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of delivery. Ensure compliance with legal, customs, and industry standards for warehousing, material handling, shipping, and safety aspects. Establish and monitor security procedures and protocols to safeguard warehouse operations and contents. Manage material handling and customer service/records keeping. Interface with customers and internal departments to plan workflow, react to changes, drive improvement programs, and resolve issues. Manage inventory accuracy through physical counts and reconciling with data storage system. Inspect equipment, plan and implement new layouts and maintenance of warehouse. Prepare annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Recruit, train and manage warehouse staff.
